Here’s a discussion on how smart factories and energy efficiency help company success while reducing carbon footprint.  The event was a breakout lecture at last summer’s Silicon Valley Energy Summit at Stanford University.

The speakers are Mark Johnson, U.S. Department of Energy and William Morrow III, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

These insights can be used to improve any factory anywhere… young people especially and those early in their careers might consider jobs in advanced, Lean, and green manufacturing.

High wage, high skill jobs in which to invest their working lives.
