An important part of “Change Yourself First” is get-as-educated-as-possible… here’s a solid source I like:
I find Germany’s broadcast outfit Deutsche Welle a refreshing alternative to America’s mainstream media. It feels good to hear investigative journalism from other countries, produced with a solid level of integrity.
Here are DW’s “Environment – Doing Your Bit” climate solutions pages, which builds on their basic investigative journalism.
(Used to be news was defined as merely “Who, What, Where, When, Why and How.” But nowadays, there is a new additional question: “So What? ” In the case of news of global warming news, there is often an inferred moral imperative – the climate version of So What. “If you don’t like the news, make some of your own,” as Scoop Nisker used to say.)
Thanks go out to Monique Murphy for the story-idea.
